    The academy holds quarterly parent-teacher conferences and encourages open communication with families.
  • What is the policy on inclement weather or emergencies?
    The academy will attempt to remain open during inclement weather or emergencies but may close or have a delayed opening if necessary. Emergency plans are in place and posted for parents to review.
  • What are the academy's hours of operation?
    The academy is open Monday through Friday from 6:30 am to 6:30 pm, including during the summer.
  • How do I enroll my child at Prepping for Excellence Academy?
    To enroll your child, contact the Center Site Director to schedule a visit. You'll need to complete all required documents and pay the necessary fees to secure your child's spot.
  • What if my child is late or absent?
    Please notify the academy by 8:45 am if your child will be absent. Late arrivals (after 9:00 am) may incur a fee unless a doctor's excuse is provided.
  • Who can pick up my child from the academy?
    Only individuals authorized in writing by the parent or guardian can pick up a child. The academy must be notified in advance if someone other than a parent will be picking up the child, and that person will need to show identification.
  • What if the academy is at full capacity?
    If the academy or a specific classroom is full, your child will be placed on a waitlist. You'll be contacted when a spot becomes available.
  • What is the age range for enrollment?
    The academy serves children from 12 months to 12 years old.
  • What if I need to pick up my child late?
    Please communicate with the academy if you will be late picking up your child. Late pick-ups may incur a fee.
  • When is tuition due?
    Tuition payments are due the Friday before the upcoming week. Late payments may incur a fee.

    Tuition rates vary depending on the child's age. Please refer to the "Fees" section of the handbook for the specific price list.

    Please notify the academy if your child has a communicable disease. The academy follows specific exclusion guidelines to prevent the spread of illness.
  • What are the naptime procedures?
    Supervised nap or rest periods are provided for children under five. Parents must provide sheets and a light cover.
  • What is the academy's policy on administering medication?
    A Medication Authorization Form must be completed before any medication can be administered. All medications must be in their original containers with proper labeling.
  • What is the infant safe sleep policy?
    Infants are always placed on their backs to sleep. Cribs adhere to safety standards, and no objects are allowed in the crib with a sleeping infant.
  • How does the academy handle toilet training?
    The academy encourages toilet training starting at 18 months old. Parents should provide extra clothes and pull-ups.
  • What are the COVID-19 protocols?
    The academy has implemented health checks, exclusion criteria, and reporting procedures to mitigate the risk of COVID-19 transmission.
